Sayadej
In the Land of a Million Elephants (Laos), August 28,1962, Mrs Sisouphane SALIO-VIARASAKD gives birth to a little boy who was called Sayadej (victory-noble-strong).

At the end of 1975, when the revolution broke out, the land of a Million Elephants becomes the Lao People's Democratic Republic. At 13 years old, Sayadej leaves its country with his two sisters and his younger brother for a refugee camp in Thailand. A few months later, they join their mother in France.

He went to school in Saint Cyr sur Mer and in high school Henri IV in Poitiers (France), he starts a training course in preparation for Military Service at the end of 1979 and in 1980 join up the french Paratroops, for five years. From 1980 to 1984, he stays in Gabon, in Lebanon under the UN flag, then in Central Africa and Chad.
At the end of 1985 he leaves the army and stays in Thailand.

 

Back to France in 1987, after a training period at Equation (jewelry), he became a foreman. In 1988, he integrates Antigona/Andelle as a foreman and creates the Haute Couture jewels, for Christian LACROIX, Emmanuel UNGARO, Hanae MORI, etc.

From 1987 to 1990 he follows a training of designer near Miss Soumaly BOUNKHET (private course) and at the Paris Modéliste Institute.

From 1991 to 1996 he works with Mr Paco RABANNE as an assistant with the realization of the Haute Couture collections.

In 1996 at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne school, he follows a technical and creation training on prototypes. The same year, he creates a model for the first Haute Couture collection of Jean-Paul GAULTIER and then another model for the second Haute Couture collection of Dominique SIROP.

Since 1996, he creates women's models and jewels under the SAYADEJ label. These models were exposed and sold at the Espace Jeunes Créateurs du Forum des Halles then at Top Ophélie, village od young designers.
Today, you can find the models with the Sayadej label in two parisian stores.

In 1998, he organizes his first défilé on the topic of the geisha and is paying tribute to Mr Paco Rabanne.

In 1999, the topic of his second défilé was the traditional weavings of Laos.

During the "City Looks" show (Mondial de la Coiffure 1999), the models were dressed with his creations.
